Senior Workforce Development Manager

The Senior Workforce Development Manager is responsible for managing a team of workforce managers and ensuring workforce needs are met while improving processes and team member performance.

Construction

Responsibilities

Acts as a coach and developer of talent
Improves the overall quality of field team members by helping to keep certifications current, expanding licensing, and increasing awareness of training possibilities through frequent communications with field personnel
Partners with Talent & Operation teams to optimize recruiting and selection, team member relations, and other related topics as it pertains to direct reports
Visits various projects to encourage safe and productive behavior
Provides feedback and coaching at the management and team member levels to drive retention and enhance performance
Implement and influence strategies for effecting change, controlling change, and helping team members to adapt to change
Effective partnership with the Workforce Planning and Scheduling team to meet organizational and team member needs
Create and develop positive community relationships to establish a pipeline of perspective team members
Oversee the execution and completion of team members’ and workforce managers’ performance evaluation processes
Ensures effective, fair, & timely performance evaluations
Mentors (leads, manages, coaches/mentors, supervises) other Workforce Managers
Provides guidance to workforce managers to ensure effective onboarding of new team members
Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Required

A high school diploma or GED
2-4 years progressive administrative/field experience in the Operations or Construction field
An Associate's degree
6 months-1 year progressive administrative/field experience in the Operations or Construction field
Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
Confidentiality
Proficiency in use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
Travel: 20-30%
Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs
