Responsibilities
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
Performs trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures
Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment
Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications
Requires knowledge of applicable standards or regulations and may require specific trade certifications
Perform on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair and calibration
Handle basic, non-complex products and/or problems, referring more complex problems to higher-level technicians
Uses experience and technical skills with preventative maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements
Advise manager of preventative maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken
Works in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction
Must work in a safe manner daily and ensure that all safety measures are always taken
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma OR any technical training cert or AA/AS degree or Equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience
