Responsibilities

Conduct and apply health science expertise to science and technology client challenges
Apply specific functional knowledge, including working or general industry knowledge
Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of more junior employees

Qualification

Required

Experience with multiple programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python
Experience in programming using advanced programming methods and techniques, including macros and arrays, to manipulate large complex database files
Experience with data workflows in a professional environment
Knowledge of data manipulation using statistical software
Ability to write communication through the development of standard operation procedures (SOPs), analytic reports, or manuscripts submitted for publication
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Biostatistics, CS, Data Science, Epidemiology, or Life Science

Preferred

Experience using R, package use, program creation, or data exportation in a professional environment
Experience with SQL scripting
Experience analyzing large-scale data sets, including more than 100,000 records
Experience working in team settings where not all members are professionally trained in statistical or quantitative studies
Experience with program documentation, including code commenting
Experience with data visualizations for broad audiences
Master's degree in Mathematics, Biostatistics, CS, Data Science, Epidemiology, or Life Science
