Responsibilities
Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware assets, including computers, servers, peripherals, and other equipment
Implement systems and processes to track the usage, location, and status of hardware assets, generating regular reports for management
Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of new hardware and replacement of outdated equipment
Oversee the lifecycle of hardware assets from acquisition to disposal, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards
Ensure all hardware assets comply with security protocols and regulatory requirements, conducting regular audits and assessments
Liaise with hardware vendors to negotiate contracts, warranty claims, and service agreements
Analyze hardware usage patterns to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Maintain detailed records of hardware assets, including serial numbers, purchase details, and maintenance history
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
3 years experience in hardware asset management or related field
Proficient in hardware asset management systems and tools
