Manager Engineering - Braking and Steering Systems

Responsibilities
Managing the engineering staff and activities with an emphasis on organizational goals achievement, professional development and continuous improvement
Monitoring and continuously improving product and process performance, quality and cost-effectiveness for all engineering activities and deliverables
Providing leadership to create and maintain processes used to design, develop and manufacture components, systems, products, services, and technologies
Managing engineering product and manufacturing process or quality issues, from concept through end of life-cycle
Qualification
Required
Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
Preferred
Experience in electro-hydraulic systems, software and software development, model-based software development and Autosar
Advanced engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
Extensive engineering experience
Hands-on experience with electronically controlled mechanical systems
Familiarity with electrical and electronic braking and steering components along with their function in electrical systems
Experience with embedded software development and datalinks along with their function in machine systems, RTOS (real-time operating systems), control systems and Matlab/Simulink
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to communicate technical information effectively with a diverse group
A demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, communicating technical information across departments and business units while driving design activities with a minimum of supervision
