Responsibilities
Support the development and maintenance of Lakeside’s internal data and operations platform, including front-end features, data structures, and reporting logic
Assist in evaluating portfolio company systems to understand how operational data is generated, stored, and accessed
Help collect, clean, validate, and structure data for use in internal tools and decision-support interfaces
Contribute to building and improving dashboards, views, and workflows within a custom JavaScript front end
Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor or similar) to support coding, refactoring, documentation, and analysis
Perform data quality checks and assist with audits to ensure accuracy and reliability across systems
Document data sources, system behavior, assumptions, and workflows to support scalability and long-term maintainability
Collaborate with operations, marketing, finance, and leadership teams to translate real business questions into functional tools and system improvements
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program (or recent graduate) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Foundational understanding of data concepts and structured data
Familiarity with at least one programming language (JavaScript and/or Python preferred)
Comfort learning new systems and working with evolving technical requirements
Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of defined technical tasks
