Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies at an industrial manufacturing location, including access control at gates and/or entry points
Verify employee, contractor, and visitor identification and authorization; issue temporary credentials as directed and maintain accurate access logs and visitor records
Screen and route incoming deliveries, service providers, and truck traffic per post orders, coordinating with site contacts for entry approvals, dock assignments, and/or staging instructions
Respond to alarms, access control exceptions, and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; document actions taken and notify site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report hazards, damage, and/or suspicious activity per post orders
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
