Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking a GoLang Tech Lead for a contract with a client in Tampa, FL. The role involves architecting scalable microservices and leading technical decision-making while mentoring engineering teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend services and microservices using Go (Golang)
Architect high-performance, secure, and maintainable systems aligned with business and technical requirements
Mentor and guide engineering teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices in coding standards and software design
Collaborate closely with product managers, DevOps, and frontend teams to define requirements, integrations, and delivery timelines
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks while ensuring reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance in cloud-native environments
Drive continuous improvement by adopting emerging GoLang tools, technologies, and architectural patterns

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
10+ years of backend engineering experience with significant hands on GoLang development
Proven expertise in architecting and developing scalable microservices using Go, with strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, REST/gRPC APIs, and distributed systems
Experience with cloud native environments and DevOps tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
