Responsibilities
Data Profiling: Analyze SAP data for quality, consistency, and completeness. Identify patterns, anomalies, and areas for improvement
Data Quality Management: Develop and apply data quality rules, perform validation checks, and recommend corrective actions
Data Governance: Collaborate with stakeholders to uphold data governance standards and promote best practices
Data Migration & Integration: Support SAP data migration efforts, ensuring clean and structured data, and assist with data mapping and integration
Reporting & Analytics: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs related to data quality and system performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with SAP functional teams (e.g., MM, SD, FICO) to resolve data issues and implement data-driven solutions
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process enhancements that improve data accuracy and system efficiency
Documentation & Training: Document methodologies and procedures; assist in developing training materials for data management processes
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a degree in Technology, Engineering, or Data Science and 2+ years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree; or 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
6–9 years of experience in SAP data management, with emphasis on data profiling and quality
Strong knowledge of SAP modules (ECC, S/4HANA, BW) and data management processes
Experience with data profiling tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, Informatica)
Familiarity with data integration, migration, and transformation in SAP
Solid understanding of data governance principles
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with SAP S/4HANA
SAP Data Management certification or related credentials
Experience with scripting or automation tools
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
