Mid LevelSanStone Health & Rehabilitation is a skilled nursing facility seeking a Full-Time Activity Director to join their team. The Activities Director will oversee the planning and operation of the Activity Department to enhance the well-being of each resident through engaging activities.

Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and develop an engaging monthly activity calendar to meet the needs and interest of each resident
Provide a positive and creative environment for residents to enjoy a multitude of activity options
Perform necessary assessments as it pertains to each individual resident
Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing activities in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident
Serve as the direct supervisor of the Activity Assistant(s)
Work closely with the Marketing Director in planning, organizing, and preparing special events/holiday celebrations
Qualification
Required
Certified Activity Director certification
Experience in planning and organizing activities for residents in a healthcare setting
Ability to assess the needs and interests of residents
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Creativity and compassion in working with residents
Ability to supervise and lead a team
