Responsibilities
Partner with Manufacturing Intelligence, Hardware, and Industrial OT engineers to deliver comprehensive projects that meet customer requirements
Maintain customer contact throughout the life of the commissioning and for some time after commissioning
Test and modify the PLC/HMI code in a modern software frame work to meet customer needs
Ensure that quality processes have been followed to deliver zero-defect code to the customer during commissioning
Provide technical leadership as required, including system-level thinking and problem-solving techniques
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence
Working with multiple disciplines and trades while leading the commissioning of projects
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five (5) years related and relevant experience in industrial automation
Technical leadership capability to guide, and coach team members working on complex projects
Strong written and oral communication skills
Curiosity and agility in problem solving when presented with a new challenge
Focus and tenacity when given a challenge to see it through
Goal oriented with a strong desire to learn new technologies and concepts
Experience with PLC platforms such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens S7, etc
Experience with stand-alone and distributed HMI/SCADA platforms such as FTView SE/ME, Siemens WinCC, Wonderware Intouch/System Platform, Ignition, etc
Experience with legacy PLCs and HMI/SCADA platforms
Experience with VFDs, Process Instrumentation, Servo Control, Valve Control, etc
Experience with Safety Control Systems – PLCs and Relays
Experience with industrial networks for device control such as Ethernet/IP, Profibus PA/DP, ASi, IOLink, HART, DeviceNet, etc
