People & Operations Coordinator
AgZen is tackling significant challenges in agriculture by utilizing advanced technology to optimize chemical application and reduce environmental harm. The People & Operations Coordinator will support the employee experience through managing HR processes, coordinating onboarding, and maintaining workplace operations to ensure a productive environment.

Responsibilities
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system setup, equipment, and employee resources
Support recruiting logistics including interview scheduling, candidate coordination, and offer-related tasks
Assist with benefits coordination and respond to routine employee HR questions
Maintain HR records, internal trackers, and documentation with a high level of confidentiality
Support employee handbook updates, HR policies, and compliance-related processes
Coordinate trainings, onboarding sessions, team meetings, and internal events
Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day employee support needs
Maintain systems and documentation in Google Workspace, Notion, Gusto and Greenhouse
Support office operations to create a productive, organized, and welcoming workplace
Coordinate supplies, vendors, facilities needs, and shared spaces
Manage office access, seating logistics, and equipment setup
Book travel and assist with expense tracking as needed
Coordinate shipping, receiving, cleaning services, and workplace logistics
Serve as the company safety representative and support safety compliance and awareness
Provide operational support for field teams, including coordination of supplies and logistics
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and streamline internal processes
Take on additional projects that improve efficiency and employee experience
Qualification
Required
1 to 3 years of experience in HR coordination, people operations, or administrative roles with HR exposure
Familiarity with onboarding, benefits coordination, and employee documentation
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfort handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Tech-forward and quick to learn new systems
Experience with Google Workspace, Notion, Gusto (HRIS) and Greenhouse (Applicant Tracking System)
Clear communicator who works well across teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred
Previous startup experience is a plus
