Responsibilities
Monitor member transactions and system reports to identify fraudulent activity
Verify required documentation and assist staff members with questions and issues regarding potential fraud
Assist in timely completion of report for Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements
Recommend processes and procedures to enhance credit union's risk management program regarding BSA & fraud
Communicate with various groups to discuss or obtain pertinent info regarding fraud cases
Qualification
Required
Ability to work with highly sensitive or confidential information
Work effectively with people at all levels within credit union
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to handle situations in a calm and resolute manner
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Ability to successfully manage and prioritize workflow
Minimum 2 years of previous banking or loss prevention experience
Minimum 2 years of college-level courses in a Business (or related) field
Any combination of education, training and experience which provides knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform essential job functions
