Responsibilities
Monitor, maintain, and repair physical and virtual systems
Apply operating system or application patches, install or replace hardware, and implement configuration changes to improve or restore system performance
Develop instructions and procedures for system maintenance, create scripts to automate monitoring and repair tasks, and conduct quality assurance checks
Contribute to process development and system improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
BA degree and 2 years in IT related field or 8 years of experience
Must have an active DOE Q Clearance Minimum to Start or DoD Top Secret with Reciprocity
Must be US Citizen
Windows embedded OS and applications
Familiarity with Operation Technology (OT) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) administration
Familiarity with network protocols and network management technologies
Skill utilizing software diagnostic tools and the ability to conduct appropriate troubleshooting processes and conduct appropriate upgrades
Excellent customer service and communication skills with customers, vendors, and database administrators and ability to work well in a collaborative team environment while working 100% onsite
Preferred
Familiarity with Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) application support
Familiarity with Azure Cloud support, specifically around single sign-on configuration and support
Familiarity with Agile work processes (standups, Kanban/work boards)
Ability to understand the application and utilization of software packages, maintain accurate records
Ability to research, assemble, and evaluate information or data regarding industry practices or applicable regulatory changes and recommend sound, practical solutions to complex issues
Ability to define systems requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms
Ability to define technical standards and functionality tests, and to develop specifications, prototypes, or initial user guides
Computer and network troubleshooting
Experience with Service Now (SNOW)
Windows system administration experience at least 1-3 years
Automation platforms such as Ansible, VmWare, Python at least 1-3 years
Experience leading and implementing large technical solutions
RHCE/CCNA
Experience in Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting language for automating System Admin tasks or troubleshooting existing processes
Experience with container technology, such as Kubernetes, RKE, Docker, etc
Virtualization, servers, storage, and networking equipment experience
ESXI experience
