Responsibilities
Assembles and/or wires complex equipment following blueprints, models, and model prints. Skilled adjusting, fitting, and aligning are required within close tolerances
Follows work cell procedures or mechanical drawings and product structures
Sets up, operates, and maintains basic production machines such as component engravers, presses, crimpers, riveting or encapsulation machines
Is flexible and able to perform many operations on products in and outside of home department
Use hand and power tools as required
Builds harness assemblies
Light usage of computers to monitor and report job status and component availability. Will need to be able to open prints or work instructions from system and write to excel or SAP databases
May perform through-hole PCB assembly
Performs related duties assigned by Supervisor
Works overtime as required
Strives to meet prescribed quality standards in an ISO environment
Follows proper use of PPEs to promote a safe work environment and performs 5S steps to ensure clean, hazard-free, and efficient work area
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 1-3 years electro-mechanical assembly experience. Mechanical assembly with electronic/electrical safety knowledge is acceptable
Ability to read blueprints and schematics; read and identify proper components and color schemes
Must present excellent workmanship standards
Must have good verbal communication skills
