They are seeking an entry-level VDC Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of Virtual Design and Construction processes on active projects, working closely with project teams and trade partners.
Construction
Responsibilities
Supporting reality capture and field technology workflows, including laser scanning, drone operations, and point cloud management, to support coordination, quality, and field execution
Developing, maintaining, and updating 3D project models using tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
Supporting model coordination and clash detection efforts with internal teams and trade partners, tracking issues through resolution
Assisting with constructability reviews and support model-based problem-solving during preconstruction and active construction
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure models align with construction means and methods
Produce model-based deliverables including quantity take offs, visualizations, logistics plans, and sequencing support as needed
Assist with technology research and the implementation of new technologies on-site
Qualification
Required
Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks
Basic understanding of construction documents and building systems
Interest in model-based coordination and constructability
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and trade partners
Willingness to learn new tools, workflows, and technologies
