Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Responsibilities

Seeking an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience required
Power systems involve low and medium-voltage applications
Power system design, Electrical System Studies – Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination
Develop one-line diagrams
Attend site visits to gather field data
Work with design teams to complete designs on design-build and design-assist projects
Review of project submittals and shop drawings for compliance with specifications
Collaborative and team oriented
Strong oral and written communication skills, self-starter
Strong organizational and planning skills, detail oriented
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility with work hours and remote work will be considered
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Fluent with the National Electric Code
Ability to apply sound engineering solutions while considering budget, schedule, and operational performance
Understanding of power system modeling software and willingness to learn SKM Powertools and/or ETAP software for power system studies such as load flow, arc flash, and protective coordination studies
Knowledge of facility power distribution systems
