The selected candidate will model and simulate semiconductor equipment systems, developing a deep understanding of hardware and processes to support product development and process teams.

Develop a deep understanding of hardware and processes to support product development and process teams

Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and engineering processes to choose proper techniques

Validate model accuracy

Determine appropriate actions

Qualification

Required

Master's degree or PhD in a science or engineering field with research experience in computational physics, computational fluid dynamics, or computational chemistry

Knowledge and experience of CFD and FEA tools such as Ansys Fluent, Ansys CFX, Comsol Multiphysics or similar commercial software

Experience in modeling and simulation of physical systems

Preferred

Expertise in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, gas-surface reactions, or c

Experience in modeling and simulation of semiconductor processing and equipment

Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling using NX, SOLIDWORKS or ANSYS SpaceClaim

Experience with data analysis skills
