Responsibilities
Integrate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, controls, and software subsystems into complete test systems
Commission systems, verify performance, and support system acceptance
Troubleshoot and resolve system-level technical issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Ensure alignment between contractual requirements, acceptance plans, and customer expectations
Provide advanced technical support for complex customer issues
Train customers on system operation and integration into their test and development processes
Perform product demonstrations on software, controllers, and mechanical systems
Review system quotations to ensure technical and budget alignment
Analyze performance data and customer requirements to support sales efforts
Support product development teams by providing feedback on system performance and enhancement opportunities
Collaborate with Product Management on new product concepts as appropriate to experience level
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Must be U.S. citizen
Willingness and ability to travel ~35% of the time, both domestically and internationally
Interest in hands-on, system-level engineering and multidisciplinary problem solving
Foundational knowledge in one or more of the following areas: mechanical systems, controls, hydraulics, electrical systems, or software
Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams
Willingness to learn complex systems and grow technical depth over time
Comfort presenting technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred
Experience with system integration, commissioning, testing, or field support
Exposure to control systems, automation, test equipment, or data acquisition
Experience with MTS equipment
