Responsibilities
Execute, modify, and maintain shell scripts to support system-level testing and automation
Use GPT-based or AI-assisted tools to help develop, debug, and optimize shell scripts
Run test sequences, collect measurement data, and verify data integrity
Create clear and concise reports using PowerPoint and Excel, including plots, tables, and summaries
Assist engineers with test setup, bring-up, and troubleshooting of datacom interconnect systems
Perform basic hardware tinkering, cable rework, and soldering to support experiments
Document procedures, scripts, and test results in an organized manner
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
Qualification
Required
Technical/vocational degree, B.S. in Engineering (Electrical or computer engineering)
2+ years of experience running and modifying shell scripts (Linux environment preferred)
1+ years of experience with system-level testing or lab-based validation
Experience using Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for technical presentations
Familiarity with basic electronics, measurement equipment, and lab tools
Preferred
Experience with Python or other scripting languages
Familiarity with version control (Git) and structured documentation practices
Exposure to data com, high-speed interconnects, or signal integrity testing
Experience with AI/GPT-assisted scripting workflows
Hands-on experience with soldering, cable assembly, or prototype rework
Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail
