InternBlue Cross of Idaho is seeking a Compliance Intern to join their Compliance team for the Summer. This internship will provide an opportunity to develop communication skills, learn about the health insurance industry, and perform risk assessments to assist the business.

Exposure to resolving claims issues, provider appeals, and other provider requests
Create and publish provider communications
Provider relationship management and conflict resolution
Exposure to industry compliance requirements and regulations
Practical application of scheduling, data analysis, and meeting platforms
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a college or university, preferably a junior or senior standing student
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
College level writing capabilities
Detailed oriented
Relationship management skills
Conflict resolution skills
Experience with workflow automation
Experience with process optimization
Demonstrated ability to problem solve
