Responsibilities

Serves as Logistics point of contact for a number of auction locations
Develops working relationships with auction representatives, dealers, commercial consignors and vendors
Quotes prices and sells Logistics services to dealers purchasing vehicles in the lanes at assigned auctions
Fields inbound calls and emails
Works directly with auction customers to expedite and process logistics needs
Provides updates to customers on status of orders
Uses problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues, escalating difficult issues that arise
Prioritizes daily tasks and completes tasks in an accurate and efficient manner
Communicates and collaborates effectively with the various departments supporting the overall business / Logistics process
Working directly with auction customers to expedite and process transportation needs
Updating customers on the status of transportation orders
Hearing and working collaboratively to resolve customer issues
Prioritizing daily tasks and completing tasks in an accurate and effective manner
Assists with special projects as assigned

Required

High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field
OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline
OR 5 years' experience in a related field
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, receptive to change and able to multitask
Prior clerical or administrative experience required
Commitment to providing excellent customer service required
Must be able to operate office equipment (i.e., copier, fax machine, etc.)
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
Communications and Organizational skills required

Preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Excel preferred
