Temporary Information Technology Assistant

Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 Platform Support: Work with Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Power Automate to help review configurations, generate reports, and support security and governance use cases
Security Dashboards & Reporting: Assist in designing and maintaining dashboards and reports that track cybersecurity metrics, compliance status, risk indicators, and operational KPIs using tools such as Microsoft 365 reports and related platforms
Compliance & Control Tracking: Support cybersecurity compliance efforts by helping track controls, evidence, and remediation tasks aligned with frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and CJIS. Assist with POA&M tracking and audit support artifacts
Automation & Workflow Assistance: Help develop and document basic automated workflows using Power Automate and related Microsoft 365 tools to improve security and operational processes
Technical Documentation: Assist in preparing and updating cybersecurity documentation, procedures, standards, and operational runbooks tied to Microsoft 365 and security processes

Required

Either relevant experience in information technology or be actively pursuing a degree in the field
Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to create and edit technical documentation clearly and accurately
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to follow through on multiple tasks
Attention to detail and a collaborative approach to working with both technical and non-technical staff
The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a professional environment
A valid driver's license in good standing and the ability to pass a background check
