Lead design of mechanical components for UL-891 switchboards, motor and drive controls, and other power distribution systems using AutoCAD Inventor and various other tools
Conduct structural and thermal analyses
Support fabrication, manufacturing, and testing teams
Ensure compliance with UL-891 and ASME standards
Mentor junior engineers and maintain documentation
Work flexible hours to meet deadlines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering; master's preferred
7+ years of experience, with 3+ years in a lead role
Experience in industrial product development and design
Proficiency in Inventor and ERP systems
Knowledge of UL-891 and ASME standards
Strong analytical and mentoring skills
Preferred
Lean Six Sigma Certification
PE license
