Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical resource for strategic SLED accounts in Los Angeles County
Provide technical leadership across the combined HPE Networking portfolio—Aruba wired/wireless, ClearPass, Central, Juniper switching, routing, security, and automation
Collaborate with account teams to understand customer requirements, deliver technical presentations, and create solution proposals
Design complex networking solutions tailored to public sector needs, including compliance and security requirements
Lead POCs and solution validation activities to demonstrate value and performance
Act as a trusted advisor to senior IT leaders in government and education organizations
Work closely with channel partners to ensure successful solution positioning and adoption

Required

5+ years in networking or IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a presales or customer-facing technical role
Proven experience supporting SLED accounts or large enterprise customers
Deep knowledge of network design principles, routing/switching, wireless, security, and SD-WAN
Familiarity with cloud-managed networking, automation, and AI-driven operations
Certifications: Aruba, Juniper, or equivalent industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) strongly preferred
Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
Candidates must reside in the greater San Bernadino region and have the ability to travel to customer sites within the assigned territory on a regular basis

Experience with competitive networking solutions and ability to articulate differentiation
Understanding of public sector procurement processes and compliance requirements
Knowledge of network automation frameworks and integration with cloud platforms
