Responsibilities
Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of 3 to 7+ cash application specialists. Fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency
Oversee the timely posting of payments and reconcile all payment channels to the general ledger
Research and resolve complex unapplied or misapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and chargebacks
Identify bottlenecks and implement, or lead, automation initiatives for cash application workflows
Monitor KPIs to ensure payments are posted within SLAs, prepare daily/monthly reports, and ensure controls are in place
Partner with Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Customer Service teams to address customer account needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of accounts receivable experience with a strong focus on collections
Demonstrated experience managing customer relationships and resolving payment disputes
Strong understanding of AR processes, including invoicing, cash application, and reconciliations
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
