Walmart Inc. is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead their Data Center Compute Services team located in Ashburn, VA. This role involves operating multiple colocation data center facilities, managing IT assets, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

Supporting the compliance of the data center facility and operations with relevant regulations and standards, such as OSHA, PCI, HIPPA, and other industry-specific regulations. This includes helping maintain documentation, assist in audits, and implementing necessary controls to meet compliance requirements
Assisting in maintaining accurate budgeting processes, ensuring financial activities align with organizational goals. Supporting the review and validation of invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
Assisting with engaging customers directly using strong communication and active listening skills to understand and address their needs effectively, ensuring a positive experience. Supporting the use of multiple communication tools to collaborate with teams across the world

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area
3 years' experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization related technologies
A solid understanding of data center operations, including basic knowledge of servers, networking, and power path/balancing
Familiarity with software tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Nlyte, and SharePoint
Proficiency in computer skills including typing, email communication, and Microsoft Office applications
Good teamwork skills to effectively assist and collaborate with their team
Good communication skills to work well with stakeholders and other departments
Capability of analyzing situations, identifying issues, and contributing to effective solutions
Careful attention to detail and organization
Adaptability and flexibility to adjust plans to meet evolving needs and challenges
Willingness to learn and stay updated on the latest industry trends, advancements, and security protocols

Preferred

Background in creating inclusive digital experiences
Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards
Familiarity with assistive technologies
Knowledge of accessibility best practices
