Lab Technician
American Cementing, LLC provides cementing services that ensure wellbore integrity. The Lab Technician plays a key role in supporting field operations by conducting tests on cement and fluids, ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining lab safety.

Responsibilities
Perform lab tests involving cement, water, and oilfield chemicals using standardized procedures
Operate laboratory equipment such as: Cement consistometers, Rheometers/viscometers, Ovens, water baths, Fluid flow apparatus, Water and analytical testing kits
Mix chemicals and fluids for testing; prepare rock and solid samples
Record all test data, calculations, and observations clearly in lab notebooks and digital databases
Create plots, graphs, and visuals from test data for client reports
Capture and process images and videos as needed for documentation
Compile data and observations into organized, client-ready reports
Ensure all data is accurately logged, securely stored, and backed up according to company policy
Maintain traceability of all samples through proper labeling and storage
Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and organizational goals
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2–3 years of laboratory experience working with sensitive instruments and testing procedures
Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Preferred
PEC Safeland USA Certification preferred, but not required
