Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with senior business, Technology, and Architecture leaders to define and execute enterprise-wide MDM modernization strategies and roadmaps
MDM Modernization Delivery: Oversee the modernization and expansion of the Company’s existing MDM infrastructure, pipelines, and logic in partnership with BAU teams and technology vendors
Target-State Architecture: Define, manage, and optimize end-to-end MDM solutions, including data ingestion, curation, mastering, and consumption, ensuring enterprise-grade data quality, integrity, and availability
Technical Oversight: Provide hands-on technical leadership and partner closely with Architecture teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient MDM designs
Data Quality & Mastering Rules: Lead the development and implementation of match/merge rules, survivorship logic, and data quality validations in collaboration with on-prem teams, Informatica, and other technology partners
Data Modeling & Governance: Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data models, hierarchies, governance workflows, metadata, lineage, and stewardship processes
System Integration: Enable seamless integration of MDM with upstream and downstream systems using ingestion tools, ETL frameworks, APIs, real-time services, cloud platforms, and external data sources
Data Migration: Lead large-scale data migrations from on-premises MDM platforms to cloud-based SaaS solutions while enabling new capabilities across products and lines of business
Data Validation: Ensure rigorous validation of migrated data to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and zero negative business impact
Team Development & Culture: Drive a cultural shift from a traditional technology-centric model to a business-outcome-driven data organization; mentor leaders and develop career paths for high-potential talent
Global Resource Management: Integrate and manage a global delivery model across U.S.-based teams, India-based teams, and consulting partners, ensuring consistent performance, standards, and culture

Qualification

Required

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field; a Bachelor's degree with relevant continuing education may be considered equivalent
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in data and analytics
8+ years leading complex, production-grade MDM systems in retail, consumer products, or similarly scaled environments
5+ years of experience in investment products or consumer financial services with comparable data complexity
Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica on-prem and Informatica MDM Customer 360, including match/merge logic, survivorship, consumption rules, and data quality frameworks
Strong command of data engineering, data governance, enterprise data management practices, cloud data solutions, and SQL
Proven ability to lead large analytics organizations, influence senior stakeholders, and communicate effectively with executive audiences
Solid understanding of legacy insurance platforms and large-scale modernization initiatives

Preferred

Expertise in Business Intelligence and reporting solutions, including Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
Experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop; Databricks and Microsoft Azure experience are strong pluses
Knowledge of HIPAA and other consumer data privacy and regulatory requirements
