Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and monitor waste management projects from initiation to closure
Manage projects related to municipal solid waste, hazardous waste, biomedical waste, recycling, and landfill operations
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and government authorities
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national environmental regulations
Track project KPIs, timelines, and costs; ensure on-time and within-budget delivery
Oversee site operations, resource allocation, and workforce planning
Manage client communication, reporting, and stakeholder expectations
Identify process improvements and implement best practices for efficiency and sustainability
Handle project documentation, audits, and regulatory reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, or related field
10-12 years of experience
5+ years of project management experience in waste management, environmental services, or infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of waste treatment technologies, collection systems, and disposal methods
Preferred
PMP / PRINCE2 / similar certification
