Responsibilities

Train new employees where applicable. Manage and reprioritize as needed to meet critical task deadlines. - 5%
Perform or Delegate Electrical and environmental testing including but not limited to acoustic, EMI and Temperature. -30%
Perform failure analysis on circuits from production and returns from customers. Create reports and hold small group meetings to find trends and root causes so that we can identify counter measures and inform internal and external stakeholders. - 30%
Perform and delegate calibration and repair of test fixtures making sure time goals are met. Perform or delegate Prototype builds of final assemblies and circuits. - 30%
Oversee the 5S initiative in Engineering. Which promotes a culture of cleanliness. In practice this may involve 5S audits and ideas to make the workspace more productive. - 5%

Required

Minimum 2-year Electrical Technician associate's degree
Two years in a related electronics job, ideally with a leadership role is desired
Should have a working knowledge of electronic circuits, be skilled in the art of circuit analysis, and have good understanding of oscilloscope and other electronic test equipment
Low level knowledge of Excel and other general office software is required
Employees may be required to stand for extended periods of time, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls
Fully functional vision is required (prescription lenses are acceptable) for roles in the manufacturing areas of the business
Extremes of temperature, noise, odor or fumes may be applicable
Proper PPE will be required
Safety training or protocols will apply
