Responsibilities

Coordinates closely with Dean’s Office personnel to strategically plan and implement RMI Center events, including conferences, symposia, employer engagements, speaker series, student professional development programs, advisory council meetings, partner visits, and receptions. Responsible for developing event timelines, budgets, marketing materials, registration systems, travel arrangements, and vendor agreements. Manages on-site event execution and provides supervision to students and volunteer personnel
Serves as the primary point of contact for RMI students regarding Center programs, professional development initiatives, scholarship opportunities, and travel arrangements. Oversees communication platforms—including Canvas, targeted email campaigns, and social media—to enhance student engagement. Coordinates approvals, documentation, lodging, and reimbursement processes for student travel in partnership with Dean’s Office personnel. Supervises student interns and manages their preparation for employer interactions, including compilation of resume books and production of business cards
Implements the Center’s industry outreach and marketing strategy in close coordination with Dean’s Office personnel. Sustains effective communication with employers, executive council members, alumni, and program partners to ensure alignment with Business Career Services and the college’s marketing and engagement priorities. Provides support for partner deliverables, sponsorship programs, and employer engagement activities. Coordinates closely with the Dean’s Office to assist with alumni outreach and promotional initiatives
Facilitates sharing of faculty and Center research by organizing events, managing communications, and updating web content in partnership with the Dean’s Office. Arranges policy-related activities with regulatory agencies and industry groups, such as setting up meetings, preparing briefings, handling data requests, and coordinating policy round-tables or research-focused events
Coordinates with the Dean’s Office on invoices, expenses, requisitions, and purchase orders. Monitors budgets and Foundation accounts. Manages Center records and calendars. Works with the college’s administrative units to support operations

Required

Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
