Responsibilities
Develop program policy related to Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) within waivers, the state plan, long-term services and supports (LTSS), HCBS quality, managed LTSS, and other policy areas within the division
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and reviews new policy and legislative initiatives for potential impact on Medicaid home and community-based services (HBCS)
Provide expert and authoritative advice and guidance in the evaluation of proposed, modified, or new legislation and regulations to assess impact on Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS)
Serve as an ad hoc team/project leader or expert resource for division or inter-component teams involved in projects

To qualify for this GS-14 position, you must clearly demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include:
Developing program policy for Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS); AND
Providing technical direction to staff, states, or stakeholders implementing Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) programs; AND
Preparing briefing documents, analytical reports, or guidelines for program management
