Responsibilities
Generate, consolidate, and maintain reporting across multiple ecommerce channels, brands, retailers, and regions
Report on and evolve key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor omni-channel ecommerce performance
Develop and maintain a scalable reporting process to deliver weekly, monthly, and ad hoc business metrics for leadership and account teams
Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, including new dashboard development, feature enhancements, and ongoing maintenance
Act as a subject matter expert on ecommerce and retail account data across core platforms and datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Support analytics across large retail catalogs, including assortment performance, category trends, and product hierarchy management
Conduct deep-dive analyses on account performance, pricing, promotions, digital shelf execution, and post-sale trends; investigate and resolve data discrepancies across systems
Create data visualizations and insights using Excel and Power BI to support customer journey optimization and business decision-making
Support recurring business cadences including weekly sales reviews, marketplace performance reporting, and monthly business review presentations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Performance Media, IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Brand) to support ecommerce strategy and execution
Provide flexible support for ad hoc analysis, competitive pricing, promotional planning, and marketplace research as business needs evolve
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
4+ years of experience in analytics, ecommerce, digital commerce, or a related role
Advanced proficiency in Excel and BI tools such as Power BI
Demonstrated experience supporting analytics for large retail product catalogs and complex assortments across multiple ecommerce partners
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to influence decision-making
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal direction
Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and lead projects to completion
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Management Information Systems (MIS)
SQL experience is a plus, especially for data modeling in DBT, Snowflake, or Rivery
Experience with ecommerce P&L reporting, profitability analysis, and retail platform analytics
Familiarity with Amazon and omni-channel datasets (Brand Analytics, Chewy vendor reporting, Walmart Retail Link, Target Partner tools, etc.)
Understanding of performance marketing and email/CRM datasets
Passion for pets, pet parents, and consumer products innovation
