Responsibilities
Define specifications for complex software applications and create, modify, and maintain complex X++ code within the Dynamics 365 F&O system
Design, code, test, debug, and document programs at a high technical level
Identify systems integration issues, compatibility, and performance across multiple platforms
Manage the execution of small to medium-sized projects, ensuring successful and timely completion
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other software engineers
Evaluate new and existing software products to determine business fit and technical feasibility
Monitor and maintain third-party software products and integrations currently in use
Manage security requests, workflows, and other advanced tasks related to the ERP application
Perform other duties as assigned, including cross-training critical IT functions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
Minimum of 6 years of relevant software development experience
Extensive experience (X++) in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Dynamics AX
3+ years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, including TSQL queries and stored procedures
Working knowledge of ODATA endpoints and familiarity with Microsoft .Net/C# development techniques
Proven ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions to resolve complex technical issues
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Azure and DevOps
Experience in analyzing, planning, implementing, and administering workflows
Experience with troubleshooting D365 F&O issues
Experience working with the cloud-based ERP system
Experience and knowledge of EDI
Experience working with eCommerce applications
Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform
