Responsibilities
Build and operate cloud-native platform infrastructure supporting data and AI workloads
Design and maintain Kubernetes-based systems for compute, orchestration, and scaling
Own Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for multi-environment deployments
Develop internal platform tooling, automation, and CI/CD pipelines
Improve cost efficiency, performance, and reliability across platform services
Partner with data engineers and product teams to enable new workloads (streaming, ML, analytics)
Qualification
Required
5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or systems engineering, core storage
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes + Terraform (must-have)
Experience supporting data platforms (Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Trino, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)
Background in cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Comfortable owning production systems and being on the hook for reliability
Strong engineering fundamentals (distributed systems, debugging, automation)
