Responsibilities
Collaborate with customers and project leads to refine requirements
Develop hardware for a wide range of applications
Design detailed analog, RF, power, and digital circuits
Perform digital logic design and verification for FPGA/CPLD implementation
Assist in system architecture design
Test, integrate, and debug new hardware in real-world environments
Work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams, including software, mechanical, and test engineers
Produce design release packages, including manufacturing documentation and test procedures
Engage with customers to discuss project status and resolve issues
Qualification
Required
Education: BS in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
Experience: Minimum 7 years of hardware development experience
Technical Expertise: Printed circuit board (PCB) design
Technical Expertise: Hardware/software system integration
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of networking protocols and techniques
Technical Expertise: Familiarity with software and scripting languages
Technical Expertise: Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Technical Expertise: Strong written and verbal communication skills
Design Tools: Schematic Capture: OrCAD, PADS PowerLogic
Design Tools: PCB Layout & Simulation: Familiarity with PCB layout tools and Gerber viewers, Spice, EEsof (or equivalent RF simulation), HyperLynx signal integrity analysis
