Responsibilities
Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation
Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications
Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process
Contribute to improving manufacturing processes through solution-based ideation for continuous improvements
Escalate any manufacturing process issues in a timely manner to minimize scrap and downtime
Complete appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with policies and procedures – including but not limited to production documents, batch control records, scrap/quality issues, and scorecards
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of Manufacturing Experience
Knowledge of basic mathematics; ability to read, comprehend, and follow written work instructions in English; working knowledge of computers and Microsoft OS; and ability to use basic measuring equipment (rulers, calipers, etc…)
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
Preferred
Working in a clean room environment, where gowns and PPE must be worn for extended periods
Standing in your position for 8 hours/day and perform focused tasks in a noisy environment
