Responsibilities
Create, develop, and implement control systems for automated manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems
Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, equipment downtime, and quality problems to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency
Ensure automation and control systems comply with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP requirements
Develop and maintain technical documentation for control systems
Support equipment validation activities and ensure change control processes are followed
Conduct root cause analysis for automation and equipment failures and implement corrective actions
Implement new technologies to enhance manufacturing process reliability and performance
Support commissioning and upgrades of manufacturing equipment
Provide technical support and training to maintenance and manufacturing teams
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with PLC- and HMI-based automation systems
Background supporting automated manufacturing equipment
Experience working in regulated environments (medical device, pharma, or biotech preferred)
Familiarity with equipment validation and change control processes
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, team-based environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work onsite for the duration of the contract
