Responsibilities

Write software that collects data from roadside equipment, managing both the code on devices and the servers receiving the intake
Optimize how we assemble data to determine road usage charges or identify safety infractions
Partner with the ML team to integrate custom models that drive our automation
Build systems dealing with millions of images per day

Qualification

Required

Experience writing code that stands up to the unpredictability of the physical world
Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with a willingness to learn fast
Ability to take ownership and meet deadlines, with an average of 50 hours/week and occasional 70+ hour bursts for major releases
Experience with data pipeline architecture and management
Experience with Road-to-Cloud Deployment, collecting data from roadside equipment
Experience optimizing data assembly for road usage charges or safety infractions
Experience partnering with ML teams to integrate custom models
Experience building systems that deal with millions of images per day
Familiarity with languages such as C++ and SQL
Familiarity with frameworks and tools like NestJS, Node.js, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, React, and Sentry
Familiarity with infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Docker, Linux, and IoT Edge Devices
Experience in specialties like Computer Vision (OpenCV), ML Integration, and Payment Processing
