System Logistics Corporation - Vertique (Krones Group) is seeking a 24/7 PLC Technical Support Engineer. This role is responsible for supporting and programming PLCs, diagnosing technical problems, and ensuring superior technical support for clients.

Responsibilities

Tests, troubleshoots and supports PLCs for automated warehouse picking systems
Becomes a subject matter expert on the use of the System Logistics System
Travels onsite during startups to complete installation and testing
Diagnoses, resolves, and documents technical problems
Uses ticketing system and documents all incidents thoroughly
Coordinates timely service and repair of equipment
Ensures the client receives a superior technical support experience by communicating and listening attentively and responding appropriately to client concerns
Will rotate shifts and will be required an on-call weekend day every 4th week
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum Associate degree in Engineering or related field
2+ years' experience in PLC programming
Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a team member
Proven ability to accurately troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to work well independently to complete all specific responsibilities with minimal supervision
Travel is up to 10%
Willingness to work rotating shifts
