This role involves overseeing the creation of contract drawings, collaborating with design teams, and guiding junior designers to ensure quality and consistency in project work.

Responsibilities
Oversee the research, preparation, and creation of various types of contract or construction drawings using industry software such as REVIT, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc
Collaborate with design teams on multiple projects to meet client, contractual, and company requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner
Provide direct guidance and supervision to junior designers on project drawing production, ensuring quality and consistency across all project work
Examine complex contract documents and drawings for errors, revising as needed to align with contract specifications
Support the development of technical reports, material costs, construction estimations, and production schedules
Conduct project review meetings and prepare project “As-Builts” documentation
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Science, or related technical field required
Minimum of 12 years of experience in document production within the engineering discipline required
Proficiency in discipline-based software (REVIT, AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative work ethic
Expert working knowledge of engineering discipline with strong expertise in design drawing layout
Strong problem-solving capabilities
