Analytical Lab Intern

Responsibilities

Conduct laboratory testing and analysis of ceramic materials using techniques such as X-ray fluorescence (XRF), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), electrical, and thermal analysis
Prepare and process ceramic samples for various analytical and mechanical testing procedures
Assist in data collection, interpretation, and documentation of experimental results
Support the development and optimization of testing methodologies for ceramic materials
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and technicians on research and development projects
Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and experimental results

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Materials Science, Ceramic Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
Basic understanding of ceramic materials and their properties
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Effective communication and technical writing skills

Preferred

Experience with analytical techniques such as XRF, SEM, EDS, electrical, and thermal analysis is a plus
Prior laboratory experience is preferred but not required
