Responsibilities
Support development, configuration, and administration of mechanical engineering software and related processes
Serve as a technical resource for CAD/PLM tools, standards, workflows, and best practices
Develop and maintain modeling standards, libraries, and documentation to improve efficiency and design reuse
Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering tools, data management, and workflows
Coordinate with engineering, IT, and other stakeholders on system enhancements, upgrades, and deployments
Provide user support, training, and guidance to improve tool adoption and effectiveness
Test, validate, and deploy software updates and new capabilities
Design mechanical components and systems from concept through release, ensuring compliance with requirements and applicable standards
Create and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in mechanical engineering, CAD/design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Several years of experience in mechanical design and CAD software usage
Working knowledge of CAD data management, BOMs, and engineering change processes
Experience supporting engineering users and developing standards, libraries, or training materials
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
Experience with multiple CAD/PLM platforms
Background in machine or product design
Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, influence change, and collaborate across teams
Strong customer focus and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
