Manager, Data Center Asset Management and Accounting
Vaco by Highspring is a leading hardware technology company at the forefront of large-scale computing innovation, and they are seeking a Manager of Data Center Asset Management and Accounting. The role involves managing the accounting and tracking of data center assets and improving asset management processes as the company grows.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end accounting and tracking of data center assets, ensuring accurate verification, capitalization, depreciation, and disposition of fixed assets
Maintain and improve asset tracking processes, internal controls, and system accuracy while partnering with Supply Chain, Infrastructure, FP&A, and Accounting teams to support forecasting, cost modeling, and spend allocation
Lead periodic physical inventory efforts and ensure alignment between physical and system records
Strengthen and document scalable asset management procedures as the company grows
Drive process optimization initiatives, improve reporting and automation, and support compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and audit requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
5+ years of experience across public accounting and/or hardware, manufacturing, or infrastructure-intensive environments
Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and fixed asset processes
Demonstrated experience improving and automating asset-related processes and controls
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite)
