Responsibilities

Effectively communicate with client, contractor(s) and project stakeholder(s)
Schedule and assist with field inspections and project documentation
Manage project subconsultants
Lead team to provide QA for construction management projects
Provide constructability reviews, construction cost estimates and construction schedules for design projects
Ensure the project adhere to all plans and regulations
Ensure safety measures are appropriately taken throughout the life of the project

Construction EngineeringHeavy/Highway ConstructionProject ManagementPMP CertificationDesign-build ExperienceSafety ManagementEffective CommunicationTeam Leadership

Required

BA/BS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or other related fields
5+ years of experience required
Effective written and verbal communication skills
At least 3 years of experience working as a Construction Engineer on capital improvement/transportation projects of similar size and complexity
Considerable Heavy/Highway construction industry knowledge with emphasis on state requirements and the Greenbook
Ability to work extended hours, weekends and nights
Background and motor vehicle check required

Preferred

PMP or CCM Certification a plus
Design-build experience a plus
