Responsibilities
Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and project objectives are met
Design, develop, and maintain robust electrical solutions using industry best practices, standards, and emerging technologies
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and constructive feedback to junior engineers
Identify and resolve technical challenges, performance issues, and system level concerns to optimize product performance
Stay current on industry trends, tools, and engineering methodologies and propose improvements to products and processes
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions related to scalability, maintainability, and reliability
Document technical specifications, system architectures, and development processes to support knowledge sharing and continuity
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field
5 to 9 years of professional experience in a senior level electrical engineering role
Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
Strong analytical and independent problem solving skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders
Experience breaking down complex systems into functional design components
Ability to evaluate and present multiple technical solutions for critical product functions such as processors, controllers, memory, and sensors
Advanced proficiency with CAD tools for schematic and PCB design
Experience architecting, writing, and debugging scripts or code for hardware or test systems
Hands on expertise using laboratory equipment for hardware and system testing
Strong knowledge of applicable engineering codes and safety standards
