Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include: creation and maintenance of acquisition evaluation models; detailed evaluation of allocated investments and commercial leases, detailed real estate, corporate finance/credit, economic, demographic, and capital markets due diligence; and preparation of investment summaries
In addition, this candidate will have responsibilities for managing the underwriting and closing process, which will require significant interaction with internal and external constituents (including brokers, consultants and attorneys)
Qualification
Required
BS/BA in accounting, finance, economics or similar quantitative focus required
2-4 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, finance, accounting, financial modeling and/or general investment, which can include applicable internships
Solid knowledge of financial and accounting fundamentals is essential
Financial modeling with Excel and Argus as well as general quantitative skills a must
Strong written and oral communications skills are required
Individuals must be able to work cooperatively and effectively as a member of a team and look to develop external relationships in the industry
Individuals should be aggressive self-starters, willing and able to maintain high levels of accuracy, energy, productivity, and effectiveness for lengthy periods
Attention to detail, multitasking and ability to prioritize will be frequently tested
