Responsibilities
Visually inspect all raw materials, detecting any defective or improper material on the production line
Visually inspect lot numbers for traceability, expiration dates and pouch seals
Perform repetitive motions
Perform various material handling duties such as moving and lifting material to supply the variety of stations needed for production utilizing pallet jacks rolling carts and hand trucks
Adhere to all quality, safety and work rules and regulations
Effectively communicate with other members of the staff
Perform a variety of general housekeeping duties necessary to maintain a clean and orderly work area
Report any quality issues, following all standard operating procedures and communicate findings verbally, in writing or through a translator
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Understanding of equipment operation utilized in the packaging operations
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Preferred
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Manufacturing experience preferred
