Responsibilities
Own the performance of the plant’s PLC software systems / network, electrical drawing system and all power systems work
Ensure the successful delivery and use of these technologies
Collaborate with the Sr. Systems Engineer to promote common systems, leveraging of scale and future integration possibilities
Share your expertise and demonstrate leadership for all PCIS projects and site initiatives
Provide and capture the scope of each project, working with the processing and packing departments and developing relationships with global engineering and vendors
Coach and develop the engineering support organization and daily operation leadership
Manage training for site resources and ensure expertise around legal and Company requirements
Qualification
Required
Strong working knowledge of PLC programming (RS Logix/ Rockwell/Allen Bradley)
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully manage internal and external relationships
Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
Strong capacity to influence technicians, managers and other resources
Experience with electrical power distribution and project management
Experience with high voltage equipment and server or network maintenance
High school diploma or GED with substantial working experience in a related technical field
